I pieced these pot holders on my sewing machine in my smoke free home. I used a layer of Insul Bright and cotton batting to protect your hands from the heat. Then I finished the hot pads with a strong, double fold binding, sewn by machine on the front and back, ensuring they will be sturdy. Machine washable. May use a hot iron. NOT microwave safe.
